Leeds owner Massimo Cellino SPEAKS OUT over Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink approach claims
LEEDS UNITED owner Massimo Cellino insists he has not contacted former player Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink over a coaching role at the club.
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has won promotion with Burton this season
Reports emerged this morning linking the Burton manager with the Leeds head coach job, currently occupied by Neil Redfearn.
Redfearn has endured a tumultuous season at Elland Road and has been praised for keeping the club in the Championship.
But his future remains in doubt, leading to speculation that Hasselbaink would replace the former academy coach.
Hasselbaink's agent Humphrey Nijman even told the Yorkshire Evening Post: "They have showed interest, but there is nothing decided yet. That is all I can say about it."

But Italian Cellino has reacted to Nijman's claim, stating he has no intention of appointing Hasselbaink.
"It's just more talk. Forget it," he said to the YEP.
Former striker Hasselbaink joined Leeds in 1997 but quit the club under a cloud two years later for Atletico Madrid.
He was booed at Elland Road during trips with Chelsea in the early 2000s before seeing out his playing career at Middlesbrough, Charlton and finally Cardiff.
He took over the reins at Burton last November and has steered the League Two club to promotion this spring.
