West Ham goalkeeper Adrian has red card rescinded by FA
THE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION has overturned West Ham goalkeeper Adrian's red card against Southampton.
Adrian was dismissed against Southampton for handling the ball outside his box
The Spaniard was send off against the Saints on Wednesday for denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity.
But an Independent Regulatory Commission has withdrawn Adrian's one-match suspension and he will now be available for tomorrow's FA Cup trip to West Brom.
However, an FA statement read: "West Ham have been charged by The FA for failing to ensure that its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion in or around the 61st minute of this game.
"The club have until 6pm on 18 February 2015 to respond to the charge."
