The former Real Madrid striker maintains he is happy with the Serie A outfit, but the club could sell their prize asset in the summer and bring in Porto hit man Jackson Martinez.
Speaking about the rumours, Martinez's agent Henrique Pompeo told AreaNapoli.it: "His desire is clear: he wants to play in Serie A.
"He has his heart set on Italy and if he were to leave Porto then Serie A would be his first choice."
Liverpool face a battle to land Manchester City's Yaya Toure with Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini eyeing a move.
Toure has become a pale shadow of himself this season and Mancini is hoping Inter can spring a bid.
