Tony Pulis says he can't wait to get down to business at West Brom and turn their season around
There have been doubts whether Pulis, who has the title of head coach in the West Brom set-up, will be able to work with chairman Jeremy Peace.
Peace has sacked three bosses in just over a year, appointing Pulis,56,to keep them clear of relegation from the Premier League.
“It’s the right club at the right time,” said Pulis who left Crystal Palace just before the season kicked-off after a dispute with their chairman, Steve Parish.
But Pulis says he’s not bothered what his title is at West Brom as long as he has control of team matters.
He will have to work to Peace, director of football Richard Garlick and technical director Terry Burton at Albion.
Pulis watched West Brom draw at West Ham on New Year’s Day and takes charge on Saturday for the FA Cup home tie with non-League Gateshead.

There has got to be something wrong and something to be sorted out.I can’t wait to get going
Tony Pulis
“I’ve been told West Brom won only four games at home in 2014,” said Pulis, who has never been relegated in his managerial career.
“There has got to be something wrong and something to be sorted out.I can’t wait to get going.”
Pulis will look to bring in players in the current transfer window and he says:
“There has been a lot said about the way the club has been run in the past and how it will be run when I come in.
“The most important thing is that everyone works together.Someone said to me did I mind being called head coach? You can call me head bottle washer if you want, it doesn’t make any difference.
“As long as I know there are specific areas I’m in charge of then that’s not a problem, I don’t care what people call me.”
West Brom are one point clear of the bottom three and Pulis added:“Having spoken to everyone at the club, everyone understands the position we are in, everyone knows what we have to do and knows that we have to be together to make sure the club stays up.”
