The 23-year-old midfielder has become increasingly disillusioned at the Bundesliga giants, and has no shortage of admirers, with Serie A outfits Inter Milan and Juventus also having designs on the player dubbed the 'Alpine Messi'.
Former Switzerland international Kubilay Turkyilmaz recently urged his countryman to resist overtures from Italy and move to the Premier League when he said: "England would suit Shaq more. They are less obsessed with tactics there, but a move to Liverpool right now could not be more unsuitable.
"They are in a crisis and cannot really have any ambitions this year. Joining them from Bayern, who expect to win titles every season, would be a culture shock."

And according to reports surfacing on the continent, Liverpool have submitted a bid for Shaqiri.
Though it is unclear how much has been offered, Bayern would prefer a permanent deal to be struck, with the aforementioned Italian sides only prepared to take him on loan.
Brendan Rodgers previously insisted the January window would be a quiet one for the Reds, but Shaqiri could be just the player Liverpool need to make a push for a top-four finish.
