MANUEL PELLEGRINI has warned rivals Chelsea will run away with the Premier League if his Manchester City side continue to slip up in games.

City have dropped 12 points this season and are a win away from table-toppers Chelsea heading into four festive fixtures.
Their form has improved, however, with seven wins in seven in all competitions including professional one-goal victories against Leicester and Everton.
And Pellegrini made it clear he expects City to reap 12 points from 12 over Christmas, starting with Crystal Palace at the Etihad tomorrow, to keep the pressure firmly on Chelsea.

We cannot drop any more points here at home
"That is very important - not for the pressure we can put on Chelsea but it is very important to add three more points and to finish the first round of games with the most amount of points we can," he said.
"We cannot drop any more points here at home because we already dropped the same number of points we did last season."
City have lost just once at home in the Premier League this season - a 1-0 result against Stoke.
Chelsea, meanwhile, suffered their first league defeat of the campaign a fortnight back at Newcastle and head to Stoke this Monday.
