The Reds' season took another dive this week after their Champions League exit was followed by a 3-0 loss against their arch-rivals at Old Trafford.
Brendan Rodgers' men have missed the presence of Sturridge up front, who's been out of action since August 31.
The Anfield outfit have now lost seven Premier League games this campaign and trail leaders Chelsea by 18 points after 16 games.

However, Sturridge is confident his side can still turn their season around.
The England forward, currently rehabilitating in the United States, tweeted: "Absolutely gutted for everyone. Woke up and watched the game and it hurts.
"I'm optimistic though and I hope everyone else feels the same."
