David Gold issues hands off warning to Arsenal and Man Utd over Winston Reid
WEST HAM co-owner David Gold has told Arsenal and Manchester United that Winston Reid is not for sale.
The New Zealand international has piqued the interest of a host of top clubs including Liverpool too.
United are currently in the grip of a defensive crisis, with the likes of Phil Jones and Jonny Evans out of action.
Arsenal in the meantime are making buying a defender a priority, especially with Laurent Koscielny and Mathieu Debuchy on the sidelines.
But Gold has quashed transfer talk surrounding Reid during a Twitter Q&A with Hammers supporters.
“@leighMrBsmall: why are we getting rid of winton reid?We are not 'getting rid' of WR we want him to stay and sign a new, contract. dg

Reid joined West Ham from Danish outfit FC Midtjylland in 2010.
