Ex-Stuttgart boss confirms Premier League interest in Man Utd and Chelsea target Rudiger
FORMER Stuttgart boss Thomas Schneider admits he had to field enquiries from Premier League clubs for central defender Antonio Rudiger during his time in charge of the Bundesliga club.
Germany international Rudiger is reportedly wanted by a host of clubs across Europe including Chelsea, Manchester United and West Ham and Schneider has revealed the player is in demand.
He said: “Toni is a player of incredible potential. He is a great force and is strikingly fast too.
“Even if he does things wrong from time to time, a player like Jerome Boateng did too when he was the same age.

“I am convinced that Toni is one of the talents that will go to the very top. There were many enquiries from top Premier League clubs when I was manager of Stuttgart.
“But for Toni, it’s most important to get regular first team football. He needs to add more consistency to his game and needs to have more stability.”
It was reported earlier today that Italian side Juventus have been watching the 21-year-old defender while Monaco failed with a bid for Rudiger during the summer transfer window.
