The England international is set to return to first-team training next week after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in the 2-0 FA Cup third round win over Tottenham in January, forcing him to miss England's disastrous World Cup outing in Brazil.
The 25-year-old returned to light training at the beginning of the season, and Arsene Wenger is confident the winger will be available for action after the upcoming international break.

And reports claim that the Gunners boss has offered Walcott a bumper new deal which would see him extend his current contract until 2018, with the forward set to partner Danny Welbeck and Alexis Sanchez in a high-speed front-line.
Walcott only signed a new deal last year, tying him down to the club until 2016, but Wenger is hoping that an extension will provide a morale boost for both the player and the club, and aid Arsenal in their quest for silverware this season.
