Manchester United are satisfied Radamel Falcao didn't lie about his age[GETTY]
Reports resurfaced over the weekend claiming Falcao is 30 and not 28 years old as he suggested.
The issue became thorny with United having the option to tie the Colombian up on a long-term deal after his loan deal expires.
Reports now suggest that United sought assurances on deadline day and were content with the documents supplied.
The birth date of February 10, 1986 on Falcao's passport was used to complete his loan move to United.
United said: "We were aware of the rumours but it was never an issue for us."

Falcao has also admitted he feels he is in 'spectacular condition' despite concerns being raised over a previous injury he sustained.
He said: "I'm so happy to be back and to have this opportunity life has granted me after the injury.
"Physically I feel spectacular. I have been able to play without any kind of trouble whatever.
"Throughout my rehab people have given me so much support and sent me so many kind messages."
