Arsenal eye Liverpool and Spurs target Karl Darlow as Lukasz Fabianski replacement
ARSENAL are keeping tabs on Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Karl Darlow.
Darlow is the latest stopper to appear on the Gunners' radar, with Lukasz Fabianski having left on a free to Swansea this summer.
The 23-year-old is considered to be on the of most promising keepers outside of the Premier League, breaking into Forest's first-team two seasons ago.
Liverpool and Tottenham have also been linked with a move for his services, with scouts tracking his progress over the past 18 months.
Arsenal step up interest in Karl Darlow
But the pair look set to miss out, with Arsene Wenger stepping up his interest in the Forest academy product.
The Frenchman - who traditionally uses a back-up keeper for domestic cup matches - is desperate to add cover and competition for number one choice Wojciech Szczesny.
The Emirates side will have to table a substantial bid to tempt Forest to sell, after boss Stuart Pearce said last week: "The only way we will accept an offer for our best young players is if it is a sensational offer."
