Double your money! Barcelona tell Chelsea and Man Utd to pay them £20m for Alex Song
BARCELONA are demanding a whopping £20m for Chelsea and Manchester United target Alex Song.
According to Marca, the Spanish side have put the price tag on his head after spending most of his time on the fringes of the first team.
Jose Mourinho is chasing the former Arsenal midfielder to add some steel to his midfield following the departure of Frank Lampard while midfield holder John Obi Mikel has been linked with a move to Valencia.
The Blues are rumoured to have launched a £10m bid for the Cameroon international to follow up their £27m signing of former Gunner Cesc Fabregas.
Louis van Gaal's new side have yet to bid for Song but are keeping tabs on his situation.
Song recently revealed that if he were to leave the Catalan club then he would like to return to England.
He told French TV channel beIN Sport: "If I leave Barcelona it will be to return to the Premier League.
"I will return to England one day, that's for sure."
