Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez are 13 goals off of setting a new goalscoring record [GETTY]
The Liverpool duo have netted an outstanding 42 goals between them this season and require a further 12 goals to equal Andrew Cole and Peter Beardsley's 20 year-old record.
Nicknamed the SAS, the pair have struck fear into Premier League defences with five goal routs against Champions League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham, elevating Brendan Rodgers' men to genuine title contenders.
Suarez and Sturridge have ten games remaining to break the record, and with fixtures against Cardiff, Sunderland and especially Norwich, against whom the Uruguayan has netted three hat-tricks, they will feel confident about setting a record of their own.
