Sneijder intends to put Mourinho friendship on hold as they go head-to-head in the Champions League [GETTY]

But, despite the pair keeping in touch since their separation at the San Siro, the Netherlands international insists he'll be prioritising Champions League progression over friendship at Turk Telekom Arena.
"Well, what can I say about him? We won this cup together," Sneijder said.
"Tomorrow is completely different though. Of course we are friends outside the pitch but tomorrow for 90 minutes we will not be friends.
"I respect him a lot as we all respect him and respect Chelsea. We want to go for the victory but with respect.

"Of course I have some special feelings with Mourinho because we won the treble and had a great year together."
The Istanbul outfit go into the clash unbeaten in their last eight matches in all competitions, but Sneijder admits his side need to be at their best to compete with the Londoners.
"It's going to be a tough game but we have prepared well and we will see what happens, we feel really confident," he added.
"We all have to play a good game to beat Chelsea because they are a good team and we respect them. If we are all 100 per cent we can achieve something. With the support of our fans it can be a very nice game for us."
