Thomas Vermaelen reportedly wants to quit Arsenal [GETTY]
Vermaelen is due to return from a calf injury this week, but has been on the periphery of things at the Emirates this season.
And with reports linking the Belgian defender with European sides like Napoli and Inter Milan, he could be on his way out of Arsenal.
Vermaelen's agent Alex Kroes told French paper Le 10 Sport: "Thomas has told Wenger that he wants to leave Arsenal this summer."

Kroes went on to downplay suggestions that Vermaelen has already agreed his next move, but refused to rule out an exit.
The 28-year-old has made just 11 appearances for the Gunners this season, with Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny edging him out at centre-back.
Vermaelen is set to go to the World Cup with Belgium this summer despite not being a first-team regular with Arsenal, but he could look to move on before next season.
