HERO: Loach pulled off a number of great saves [ACTION]
The Tractor Boys had few chances, the best came when 16-goal top scorer David McGoldrick found space in the Blackpool box but headed wide from six yards.
For Blackpool there was at least the consolation of a rare point on the road and a dogged defensive performance.
They were often on the ropes but always showed fight and could easily have nicked a win.
Ipswich keeper Scott Loach made his third crucial save of the game after 86 minutes to again deny mid?elder Faris Haroun.
Blackpool player manager Barry Ferguson said: ‘I’m disappointed we didn’t get the three points. We certainly deserved them.’’
