McDermott plans talks with Cellino over future [GETTY]
The Italian is currently waiting for Football League approval before his takeover of the Yorkshire side is complete.
Cellino controversially attempted to fire McDermott last month before he was two days later reinstated as manager, and the pair are set to meet at the Amex to talk over the future of the club.
"From what I can gather he's coming to the game against Brighton. Then hopefully we'll sit down and have a conversation, have a meal together," McDermott said.

"We've had one meeting already a couple of weeks ago but for me now this is important.
"The only thing that concerns me is trying to be Leeds United manager for as long as I can, and for us to be successful."
Providing Football League approval, Cellino will take a 75% stake of Leeds, with rival consortium, Together Leeds, a back-up buyer should anything go wrong.
