Spurs host fellow top-four hopefuls Everton at White Hart Lane on Sunday, with just one point separating the two teams.
And Sherwood will have Townsend and Dembele available again, after the pair returned from injury.

"We're positive on Andros and he has a chance, he's up for selection," said Sherwood.
"He's champing at the bit to return."
Midfielder Dembele missed the 1-1 draw at Hull with an ankle complaint, but is set to start against the Toffees.
"He's fine," Sherwood added. "He's back out training again and he's in the frame to start against Everton."
