Greg Dyke: Wilshere should learn to cope with abuse
FA CHAIRMAN Greg Dyke has spoken out about players dealing with abuse from the stands saying Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere should learn to cope with flak from fans because he is paid handsomely to do so.

Wilshere was caught on television cameras giving the middle finger to rowdy Manchester City fans during the Gunners' 6-3 thrashing at the Etihad.
The FA moved quickly to charge the English midfielder, hitting him with a two game ban which would mean he misses Chelsea's visit to the Emirates and the Gunners' Boxing Day trip to face West Ham.
Wilshere has accepted that he made the gesture but is contesting the length of the ban.
A decision on his appeal will be made shortly, but Dyke has made his feelings clear about how players should react to taunts from opposing fans and has insisted Wilshere will learn from this.
Dyke said: "As a supporter I sympathise with the players because of the flak they get from the crowd.

"People can lose their cool very quickly but he has got to learn.
"He’s very well paid to play the game and he’s got to learn to cope with it.
“You think back over many years of players who were hot-headed when they were younger but not when they get older.
"They just learn and mature.
"That’s what happens, it’s part of life.”
