Alfred Finnbogason is now being tracked by Everton [GETTY]
Finnbogason has been on the radar of a number of Premier League clubs including Newcastle and West Ham.
But it seems Everton are ready to enter the chase for Finnbogason's signature.
According to reports, Toffees boss Roberto Martinez has identified Finnbogason as a possible replacement for Jelavic, who has been frozen out of the first-team picture this season.

It is also thought Everton dispatched a scout to watch Finnbogason in action for Herenveeen yesterday to run the rule over him.
Everton are in need of cover for Romelu Lukaku, who has netted eight goals in the Premier League so far this campaign.
With it being World Cup year, a move away from Goodison Park could benefit Jelavic in the medium term.
