BORUSSIA DORTMUND striker Robert Lewandowski has ruled out making a late exit from the Bundesliga outfit this summer after speculation linked him with a move to Chelsea.
Chelsea target Robert Lewandowski will be staying at Dortmund this season
Lewandowski is widely expected to join Dortmund's German rivals Bayern Munich next summer when his contract expires, but Chelsea had been mooted as late suitors in this transfer window.
"The situation is now that I will stay in Dortmund for one more year," Lewandowski told German newspaper Bild. "We have put aside all disagreements and have cleared the air. There were mistakes made but the case is closed.
"I had a different starting point. I thought I was allowed to transfer. I was then disappointed and angry. But now everything is calm. I have always said I would respect my contract.
"BVB (Dortmund) are ready to mount an attack for every title. We are chasing Bayern."
