Robert Lewandowski has had his wages tripled at Borussia Dortmund
Lewandowski has 12 months left on his contract and is expected to join Bayern Munich on a free transfer next summer.
But that has not stopped Manchester United, Manchester City and, most recently, Chelsea, making a play for the 24-year-old's services this summer.
Recent reports suggest that Jose Mourinho could step up his pursuit of Lewandowski with a £40m bid should the Stamford Bridge club miss out on Manchester United's Wayne Rooney.

Chelsea are thought to retain hope that they can take advantage of Dortmund's outright refusal to sell their prize asset to a Bundesliga rival by offering an alternative destination.
But now a deal has been struck to ensure that Lewandowski will almost certainly remain at the Westfalenstadion for the upcoming season.
Bild report the Polish international has had his wages bumped from £20,000-a-week to £60,000-a-week to finally end speculation about a departure before the end of the transfer window.

According to respected German football journalist Raphael Honigstein the pay rise is nothing more than "a sweetener for Lewandowski, to ensure he stays motivated and professional" and does not change the fact that he will leave Dortmund when his contract expires.
And Honigstein is in no doubt that Chelsea's interest in Lewandowski will not amount to anything.
He added on Twitter: "The 'Lewandowski going to club XYZ' game has been over since February. Only question was: Bayern this or next season."
