Arsenal, Newcastle and Spurs track 'the next Christian Benteke'
PREMIER LEAGUE trio Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle are jostling to sign the next Christian Benteke - Nigerian striker Uche Nwofor.
According to reports in Holland, and un-named English club are looking to secure the services of Nwofor from Dutch side VVV Venlo.
Nwofor, 21, has been likened to powerful Aston Villa hitman Benteke, who signed a new deal at Villa Park this summer.
Arsenal, Spurs and Newcastle have all previously been linked with Nwofor, who struck 10 goals for Venlo last season as they slipped to relegation from the Eredivisie.
If the Nigeria international were to secure a move to England, it is likely that he would spend a campaign out on-loan in Europe in order to earn a work permit.
Roda JC Kerkrade have reportedly been lined up as a temporary home for Nwofor, if he does join a Premier League side this summer.
