Diouf was much-heralded when he joined Manchester United from Molde in 2009 with Sir Alex Ferguson saying he was a player that the Red Devils had been tracking for two years.

But the Senegalese international failed to live up to expectations during his time at Old Trafford and had loan spells with Blackburn Rovers and back in Norway with Molde before joining Hannover in Germany in January 2012.
The 25-year-old has had a considerably more successful time in the Bundesliga, scoring 25 goals in 49 appearances, and that has generated interest in the player from a number of clubs across Europe.
