Gonzalo Higuain granted permission to complete Arsenal move
ARSENAL could be set to end the transfer saga surrounding Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain - after his father revealed the Argentine striker has been given permission to discuss a move to the Emirates.
However, Higuain's father Jorge has allayed fears that the 25-year-old may not sign for the Gunners by revealing his son has been permitted to open talks with Arsenal.
"We have been given permission by Real Madrid to negotiate with Arsenal," said Jorge Higuain.

"I will luckily be able to see my son in the Premier League soon.
"There isn't anything signed yet, but the negotiations are very advanced.
"We haven't spoken about the contract yet. Arsenal has made a great offer, as have Juventus."
Higuain is expected to cost the North-London outfit around £22million, with sources indicating that the former River Plate forward has flown to London to meet with Arsenal representatives.
