Robert Lewandowski insistent on snubbing Manchester United and Chelsea for Bayern Munich
BORUSSIA DORTMUND striker Robert Lewandowski is not worried about the potential break-down in his reported summer transfer to Bayern Munich.
Lewandowski had been expected to complete a switch to Bayern Munich in the coming weeks, but yesterday Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke appeared to scupper the Polish international's plan to move.
Manchester United and Chelsea have since been tipped to rekindle their interest in the 24-year-old, but he remains certain a deal with the German treble-winners can be pushed through.
"Who said that? The boss?" Lewandowski is quoted to have said in German sports paper Bild. "I do not think that this is a final decision. I think that will change."
"For the time being I'm on vacation, I am recovering," continued Lewandowski. "I hope it goes forward soon and soon something will change.
"I get upset over nothing. Neither about the upcoming wedding, nor the transfer."
Dortmund's number nine is set to marry fiancee Anna Stachurska this summer, and looks set to fight for his move to the Allianz Arena despite his club's preferred intention to sell him off abroad.
"Robert Lewandowski will definitely not transfer to Bayern Munich in 2013," claimed Watzke. "I am not saying he will definitely stay but he will certainly not be playing for Bayern in 2013."
