Liverpool given encouragement over Christian Eriksen following Denmark coach's comments
LIVERPOOL could still be within a shout of snaffling Ajax wonder kid Christian Eriksen in the summer.
Daniel Agger urged his countryman to make switch to the Liverpool as his style of play would be the perfect fit for them.
It seemed that Liverpool would miss out on Eriksen, as he appeared to be heading to Borussia Dortmund for a fee in the region of £10-£13m.
Though speculation has reached fever pitch about his future as he hasn't signed a new deal with Ajax, the Denmark coach, Morten Olsen, thinks he's ready to play at a higher level.
"This is the right time for him to go," Olsen told Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet.
"There are many players who moved to a top club too early, but Christian is really ready.
"He played great against Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City, PSV and Feyenoord this season, so maybe that's where Dortmund's interest stems from."
