Radamel Falcao and Neymar are off the agenda for Manchester City
MANCHESTER CITY chief executive Ferran Soriano has unequivocally denied that the club are still after Radamel Falcao and Neymar.
It was thought last week that Manchester City's hopes of pulling off a deal for the Brazilian superstar was alive as his father's pugnacious attitude threatened to scupper a move to Barcelona.
Falcao, who has been a long-standing target for Chelsea and City, was told by his club Atletico Madrid that they wouldn't stand in his way should he wish to leave.
However, Soriano hit back angrily at such reports, saying the duo are not on City's transfer shortlist.
"Neymar and Falcao? [These reports are] false, they have never been on our agenda," Soriano told Italian website Tuttomercatoweb.com.
Soriano also rubbished suggestions that Sergio Aguero could be heading for the Etihad exit, amid ongoing interest from Real Madrid.
He added: "The first thing I want to emphasise is that we have never thought of selling Aguero. El Kun will be happy to stay with us this year."
