Everton star Marouane Fellaini drops hint over following David Moyes to Manchester United
MAROUANE FELLAINI has hinted that he would be interested in following former Everton manager David Moyes to Manchester United this summer.
Fellaini has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs after another strong campaign at Everton, with the Belgian's reported £24 million release clause expected to be troubled by club such as Chelsea.
However, the 25-year-old has said he will not leave Goodison Park unless potential suitors show as much determination to sign him as Moyes did five years ago when he was at Standard Liege.
But the big-haired midfielder intimated he would be tempted to work under Moyes again at Manchester United, with the Scot thought to be interested in bringing him to Old Trafford.
"If I'm leaving Everton, I say if, it will depend on lots of factors," said Fellaini.
"I only want to go to a club where the manager really wants me. In 2008, Everton did everything to convince me, especially David Moyes. He made me the player I am now.
Fellaini made clear his respect for Moyes as he went on to discuss where he believes is his best position, deciding that he agrees with the 50-year-old's assertion that he isn't a natural forward.
"I'm happy with my season, although I didn't play in my best position," continued Fellaini.
"I'm not a number 10. David Moyes predicts my future as a defensive midfielder, but due to a lack of offensive power, he plays me up front.
"In the future I want to play as a six or an eight. From there, I can create danger and score goals."
