Kevin de Bruyne still in dark over Chelsea future
CHELSEA midfielder Kevin de Bruyne admits he is still in the dark over whether he has a future at Stamford Bridge.
The Belgian is currently on loan at Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen and has made a good impression, having clocked up 26 appearances.
Although the Blues only signed de Bruyne last January from Genk, he struggled to establish himself in the first team.
We reported last week that de Bruyne has already caught the attention of Bayer Leverkusen, who have registered their interest in the player.
De Bruyne said: "That's the reason that I signed there last year.
"I want to show everyone at Chelsea that I can play there.
"But at the moment I don't know what Chelsea want to do with me, so it's difficult to say what's going to happen with me in the next year, or years. I have to just wait."
De Bruyne has netted six goals in the Bundesliga so far this season.
He also scored in Belgium's 2-0 win over Macedona last Friday in their World Cup qualifier.
