Bayer Leverkusen voice interest in Chelsea's Kevin de Bruyne
CHELSEA may have to fend off interest for Kevin de Bruyne in the summer.
German giants Bayer Leverkusen have declared their intent for de Bruyne who has been marginalised during his time at Stamford Bridge.
De Bruyne has been linked with a move to Wolfsburg and is currently on loan at Werden Bremen.
And it looks like de Bruyne could stay in Germany.
Leverkusen's chief executive Wolfgang Holzhauser told German paper Express: "He is a very interesting man.”
He is a very interesting man
Although Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller seemed to downplay the rumours by saying De Bruyne was "an interesting player - nothing more and nothing less", De Bruyne's future appears to lie away from Chelsea.
De Bruyne has netted six goals in 26 Bundesliga games this season.
He is contracted at Stamford Bridge until 2017.
