Everton star Marouane Fellaini involved in nightclub rumpus before Belgium frendly
MAROUANE FELLAINI was involved in a nightclub rumpus just 48 hours before Belgium’s friendly against Slovakia last night.
Our doorman noticed all of a sudden that there was a fierce discussion. There was no fighting, but emotions were running very high
The Everton midfi elder was asked to leave the Carre nightclub at Willebroek, near Antwerp, at 5.30am on Monday.
Fellaini pulled out of Belgium’s training session later that day with a hip injury, which Everton manager David Moyes will assess before the weekend trip to Manchester United. Moyes is likely to quiz Fellaini on the incident.
The nightclub manager said: “Our doorman noticed all of a sudden that there was a fierce discussion. There was no fighting, but emotions were running very high.
“The bouncer spoke with Fellaini, who is a good customer of ours, as well as his friends. He said they should go home, as it was very late. They’d had a good time and there would only be more disputes if they stayed. Thankfully they had the good sense to understand him and they all left.”
