Arsenal’s transfer chief Edu could look to take advantage of the chaos unfolding at Stamford Bridge by repeating the club’s Kai Havertz and Raheem Sterling transfer successes.
Havertz made the move from west to north London last summer for a hefty £65million, while Sterling joined Mikel Arteta’s side on loan earlier this year.
In both instances, the general consensus has been Arsenal got the better end of the deal - a far cry from previous Stamford Bridge to Emirates Stadium moves which haven’t worked in the Gunners’ favourite.

But, the Euro 2024 final goalscorer won’t be content sticking around at Chelsea forever if the club’s middling results continue and they fail to qualify for the Champions League.
Given he’s settled in the capital over the last year, should Palmer begin agitating for a move away, the best-performing team in London right now, Arsenal, could prove the perfect destination.
