Germany face Scotland in their opening match of Euro 2024 tonight (Friday). Hundreds of thousands of Scotland fans are believed to have arrived in German cities ahead of the tournament.

Many supporters of both teams have been wearing kilts in the build-up to Friday's Group A clash. And one individual learned the dangers of not properly covering up in a horror moment on German television.

Fans started to come behind the camera and sing songs over the top of the presenter's piece. He invited the camera to pan across the group to a man wearing a Germany shirt and a kilt, combining the cultures of both nations.

But as the camera lowered to show the kilt, the man's clothing was lifted up by another support - exposing the man's genitals in full view of those watching at home. The clip has since been widely shared on social media.

The camera quickly turned back to the presenter, who seemed horrified over the incident. He laughed and covered the side of his face as if to portray that he was not looking at the man's penis.

Fans continued to laugh in the background and the songs continued. The atmosphere has been building in Munich ahead of the start of the tournament.

Scotland are hoping to qualify from Group A but face a tough first test against Germany. Steve Clarke's side then face Switzerland (June 19) and Hungary (June 23).

Clarke said on Thursday: “That’s why we’re here, we believe we can get a result every time we go onto the pitch. Otherwise what’s the point in going to the pitch?

“We’re prepared well, we think we’re ready, and hopefully you see that tomorrow night.

“Everybody’s fully fit, flying, desperate to be selected and ready to go. It’s a difficult game. One of the mantras that I’ve always had is respect everyone and fear no-one.

“We come here with a lot of respect for the host nation, we know they’re a good team, but hopefully on the night we can show we’re a good team as well.”

Meanwhile, England are making their final preparations ahead of meeting Serbia in Gelsenkirchen on Sunday. Manager Gareth Southgate is hoping to have John Stones fit after a bout of illness kept the defender out of training on Wednesday. The Manchester City star has taken part in sessions over the last two days.
