England Under-19 winger Watt enjoyed a successful spell on loan
at Elland Road last season, playing six games to help the Yorkshire
club clinch promotion from League One.
Watt is Leeds’ eighth summer signing and is likely to temporarily fill
the gap left by Robert Snodgrass, who is out for around a month due to
a knee injury.
Manager Simon Grayson said: “He did well last year and he’s another good addition to our squad.”
Arsenal have also told Henri Lansbury, 19, he can go out on loan to a
Premier League club this season, alerting both Newcastle and West Brom.
Lansbury, who impressed on loan at Watford last season, wants to talk
to Newcastle boss Chris Hughton and West Brom manager Roberto Di Matteo
before deciding where his future lies.
Di Matteo also wants his former club Chelsea to loan him defender Ryan Bertrand for the season.
