Louis Saha believes Zinedine Zidane would be Manchester United's perfect appointment with "no negatives" if Erik ten Hag faces the sack this summer. The former Red Devils striker wants to see Zidane at Old Trafford if the club decides to make a change in the dugout at the start of the INEOS era.

Zidane hasn't been in management since 2021, when he left his second stint at Real Madrid, where he lifted three consecutive Champions Leagues as boss.
But his blockbuster United arrival wouldn't benefit many, if any, players more than Kobbie Mainoo. The opportunity to learn from the legendary midfielder would propel the 19-year-old to new heights.
Mainoo is expected to sign a new contract this summer and be the face of United's new chapter after establishing himself as a crucial player in his breakthrough campaign.
He will be grateful to Ten Hag for paving the way for his emergence, but if the Dutchman departs, no alternatives may excite him more than Zidane.
