Harry Kane has been linked with a blockbuster switch from Tottenham to Bayern Munich.

Harry Kane is reported to have held a meeting with Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel at his London home. Reports in Germany claim that the Tottenham striker made clear to the former Chelsea head coach that he wants to win the Champions League with the German outfit.
Kane has been strongly linked with an exit from Spurs this summer, with just a year remaining on his contract. Manchester United reportedly registered an interest, while Bayern have been trying to lure the 29-year-old to the Bundesliga.
Spurs are doing everything in their power to keep their star player, despite his contractual situation. Some reports suggest the North Londoners may keep the England captain for another year before allowing him to depart as a free agent in 12 months’ time.
However, that has not prevented Bayern from still trying to sign Kane this year. It has been claimed in the German media that the Bavarians are preparing to submit another offer this week.

According to newspaper BILD, Kane was visited by Bayern boss Tuchel at his London home. The German tactician is reportedly desperate to sign the Spurs icon.
The report adds that Kane seemed open to a move and even talked about winning the Champions League with the perennial Bundesliga winners. He would certainly have the opportunity to win a trophy at Bayern, something that has eluded him during his playing career so far.
Kane is just 48 goals away from Alan Shearer’s Premier League record of 260. Some believe that he will want to break that record, and that moving abroad would ruin his chances of becoming the most prolific goalscorer in English football’s top tier.

But it has been claimed that Kane believes he can play for Bayern for several years, return to England later in his career and attempt to beat Shearer’s record. According to the Daily Star, the forward thinks he can topple the Newcastle legend even if he plays in another country for a few years.
It is also claimed that Bayern are ‘convinced’ that Kane wants to join. The Three Lions star is set for crunch talks with new Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou later this month.
Kane does not return from his holidays until July 12 having taken part in England’s two Euro 2024 qualifying victories over Malta and North Macedonia. He will then discuss his future with Postecoglou, the man charged with rekindling Spurs’ status as a Big Six Premier League side.
