Luton chief responds to Brighton opener
Luton chief executive Gary Sweet was asked for his thoughts on their opening-day match against Brighton by Sky Sports News and said: "Relatively kind, I think actually it could have been much worse!
"Other clubs have been telling me about their nightmare first few fixtures. We're really delighted with that."
Luton actually boast a 100 per cent record against Brighton in the top flight, with the Hatters claiming two wins from two matches during the 1980s.

Not long now...
We're just over 15 minutes away from learning the Premier League fixtures for the upcoming 2023/24 campaign.
All eyes will initially be on the opening day of the season in the hope that some mouthwatering clashes will be thrown up from the outset.
The wait is almost over...
Man City the team to beat
It will be a difficult task for the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United to beat Manchester City to next season's Premier League title, with the defending champions arguably stronger than ever before at this moment in time.
Pep Guardiola's side wrapped up a historic treble by winning the Champions League last weekend and have clinched four English titles in the previous five seasons.
Will anybody be able to catch them in 2023/24? Only time will tell...
Mid-season break returns
There will be another mid-season break this winter despite there being no World Cup to disrupt proceedings like there was last year.
The campaign will pause following the FA Cup third round fixtures, with the week-long break lasting from January 13 to January 20.
Meanwhile, the first international break of the season will begin on September 4, with Premier League fixtures set to return on September 16.
New kids on the block
It will be an exciting morning for fans of Burnley, Sheffield United and Luton Town as they wait to discover their opening-day fixtures after winning promotion to the Premier League last season.
The Clarets wasted no time in bouncing back at the very first attempt, while Sheffield United will join them in England's top flight after a two-year absence.
Luton, meanwhile, have never played in the Premier League but were relegated from the old First Division the season before it was rebranded to the competition we know and love today.
Fixtures 'leaked'?
Has the first round of matches already been revealed on social media?
Potentially - the below fits the criteria that Liverpool and Luton Town have both asked to play at least their first match away from home.
This would be a pretty exciting line-up for the first weekend on August 11/12/13.
