Man Utd's Harry Maguire scathingly attacked by Rojo who aimed X-rated rant at Solskjaer

Former Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo has unleashed a ruthless rant at Harry Maguire after his arrival saw him end his career at Old Trafford on the periphery. And he has recalled calling Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a 'son of a b***h' when demanding he replaced Maguire in his team.
Rojo spent seven years at United after joining in a £16million deal from Sporting Club in 2014.
But he was pushed down the pecking order when Solskjaer splashed £80m to sign Maguire from Leicester City in the summer of 2019.
After his arrival, the 33-year-old Argentine started just one Premier League game across the 2019/20 season.
A year later, Maguire was club captain and had formed a seemingly-immovable partnership with Victor Lindelof.
And now, a few years on, Rojo hasn't held back on his assessment of the situation, claiming Solskjaer said he was pressured to play Maguire, despite his mistakes, due to his world-record price tag.

He told TyC Sports: "In 2019, I was playing in the Europa League, but I was really angry with the Manchester coach [Solskjaer].
"Because he was putting Maguire [in the team] instead of me, who, thank god, finally they took him out from the starting line-up for Licha [Lisandro] Martinez.
"One day, I went to Solskjaer's office to tell him to let me leave for the other club or put [me] in the starting line-up, but he told me that Maguire had to play yes or yes because of the money they paid for him.
"He [Maguire] was making huge mistakes already, and I told Solskjaer: 'Son of a b***h, let me play because this guy is making huge mistakes every week'."

Rojo left United in 2021, returning to Argentina to sign for Boca Juniors, where he plays today.
Maguire has since lost his place in the team under Ralf Rangnick and Erik ten Hag, with Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez now firmly first-choice.
Rojo wasn't the only United defender to express his frustration with being behind the England international in Solskjaer's thinking.
Eric Bailly, set to leave this summer after a loan stint at Marseille, previously told L'Equipe that he believed there was a bias toward English players at Old Trafford.
