Chelsea coach Michel Arnos has spoken out after his side's narrow 2-1 win over Plymouth Argyle on Saturday afternoon. The Blues went into the game as favourites to make the fifth round of the competition. However, they were pushed all the way by their League One counterparts on a frantic day of football at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea were slow out of the blocks against Plymouth.
And the visitors went ahead through Macaulay Gillesphey, with the centre-back taking advantage of a set-piece to silence the home crowd.
Chelsea were outplayed throughout large periods of the first half but, just before the interval, drew level through Cesar Azpilicueta.
Marcos Alonso then popped up with a late winner in extra-time, with Kepa saving a late penalty from Ryan Hardie to secure his side’s passage to the next round.
Chelsea were fortunate not to be taken to extra-time and Michels, speaking after the game, has opened up on what he thought of the contest.

And Plymouth boss Steven Schumacher insisted he was delighted with his side’s display, saying: "We're really proud.
"We knew it was going to be a really tough day. We wanted to make our fans proud and I think we did that.
"A lot of the credit this week has to go to Keith Downing, who is a really good out-of-possession coach. We had to be organised and the back three had to defend their goal really, really well.
"I think both goals were from their full-backs, but I can't be too disappointed with our players. I think their legs went at the end. Ryan Hardie is devastated. He normally strikes the penalties better than that. He'll be disappointed but he can't dwell on it too long.
"We're moving well and going in the right direction as a club. It's a great club to work at. That's the aim - to get to the Championship."
