Rangnick insists Man Utd players are adapting to his methodsx
With Manchester United continuing to struggle in the aftermath of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s sacking, the club could splash the cash in coming transfer windows ahead. Several players have been linked with moves to Old Trafford, especially with the club needing reinforcements in the middle of the park. And RB Leipzig and Aston Villa players Amadou Haidara and John McGinn have become the latest pair to emerge as potential targets.
Manchester United produced some of their best football under Rangnick in Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Aston Villa at Villa Park.
Yet despite the Red Devils dominating for large periods, they were unable to hold on for all three points with Philippe Coutinho rescuing a point for the home side.
Once again for United, their midfield appeared to let them down.
Fred regressed as the match went on while Nemanja Matic showed why he’s on the wane with a torrid performance in the closing stages.
So, with the club being linked with Haidara and McGinn, Express Sport will now take a look at the how the Red Devils would line up with the duo in their ranks.

David De Gea has been back to his best this season.
At the start of the campaign, some believed he’d struggle to get into the team ahead of Dean Henderson - who started to replace him towards the tail end of last term.
Yet De Gea has started to resemble the goalkeeper he was during the eras of Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho.
He was brilliant against Villa on Saturday, keeping the home side out until Jacob Ramsey and Coutinho found the net.
Therefore, it’s no surprise Henderson is pondering a move away - though Rangnick wants the England international to stay for the time being.
