Chelsea star Antonio Rudiger has apparently been offered a staggering £5.85million yearly salary to quit Stamford Bridge and join Paris Saint-Germain this summer. But the defender is said to prefer a move to Real Madrid.
Rudiger’s Chelsea future is still up in the air and he continues to attract attention from a whole host of European powerhouses.
The Germany international has been one of the best defenders in the Premier League since Thomas Tuchel took the helm in west London just under a year ago.
But the player has as of yet refused to put pen-to-paper on a new deal.
Overseas clubs are now allowed to negotiate terms with Rudiger and, according to Foot Mercato, PSG’s hefty offer is more than Real have put on the table.
But the wages might not be enough to persuade the 28-year-old to opt for France over Spain.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich and Juventus are reportedly in talks with Rudiger’s agent, while Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick is also an admirer of the player.
Rudiger arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2017 after the club shelled out an initial £29m to sign him from Roma.
He was a regular under Antonio Conte and his successor Maurizio Sarri, while also initially commanding a starting place under Frank Lampard.
But he fell out of favour during Lampard’s second season at the helm, before returning to the side when Tuchel replaced the former England midfielder.

Rudiger has been transformed thanks to the guidance of Tuchel and didn’t miss a minute of Champions League action last season after his compatriot had been appointed.
The defender’s stellar performances were a key reason for Chelsea’s European success last term as they lifted the trophy for the second time in their history.
And the ace has continued to excel this season, although the Blues have suffered a downturn in fortunes in recent weeks.
If Rudiger does decide to quit Stamford Bridge later this year, it would come as a bitter blow to the club.

And Tuchel recently insisted that contract discussions were in good hands.
“We’re in talks,” Tuchel said. “It’s in good hands because I trust the club 100 per cent and I have trust in my player.
“So it’s a no-problem situation for me, obviously also for Toni. He can still deliver, he had a fantastic match now in a back-four - so he’s super reliable.
“I don’t feel Toni that he needs a lot of words, pampering, coffee talks and invitations to dinners and whatever.
“He’s a top professional - this is what he has proved. He’s very important and nothing has changed.”
