Arteta quizzed about Aubameyang as Arsenal defeat West Ham
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's father was "quite often late" during his days as a player, according to his former team-mate Frank Leboeuf. Pierre Aubameyang played alongside Leboeuf at Laval between 1988 and 1991. And the former France defender claims there are similarities to his son.

The Gunners have won those three games and Leboeuf was asked if Arteta's side are better without their former skipper.
But Leboeuf, being a former team-mate of Aubameyang's dad, did not want to give harsh criticism of his son.
"It's hard to say and it's harsh to say as well, because he's served the club well," Leboeuf said on ESPN FC Extra Time.
"We have to admit that right now, without him and with [Alexandre] Lacazette, we have to say the truth, Lacazette is doing very well with [Gabriel] Martinelli up front, there is no complaint whatsoever from the Gunners fans to not see Aubameyang up front.

"But Aubameyang is a fantastic player and don't forget that I played with his father, which is his agent, and he'd be very upset if I say something bad about him.
"So I won't answer your question with all the honesty that I have normally.
"But I still think honestly that Aubameyang is a fantastic player."
Leboeuf was then asked whether Aubameyang Snr had the same tardiness of the Arsenal star.

He was hesitant in his reply before responding: "He...well, [I'm] not sure.
"We played for Laval, I remember Pierre had a fantastic red car and he was always putting his gel on his hair, so I guess he was quite often late, so there.
"Like father, like son I guess."
Leboeuf's response caused plenty of laughter in the ESPN FC studio.
Meanwhile, Aubameyang Jnr has reportedly been training away from the first team at Arsenal as he battles to win his spot back.
