Lucas Moura has lifted the lid on the Tottenham star who he misses the most, labelling them the “best midfielder I have seen”. Moura joined Spurs in the January transfer window in 2018, going on to become a key player for the Premier League side.
The Tottenham squad has undergone a slow revolution since Moura first arrived in North London, with 14 players from that time departing in the 18 months since.
There is one man who Moura misses more than anyone though, but it has been two years since that player starred for Spurs.
Since that departure, Tottenham have had four managers, with Mauricio Pochettino, Jose Mourinho, Nuno Espirito and Antonio Conte all taking charge of the London team.
Moura has been a key player under all four of those bosses, scoring the second goal of the Conte era in last week’s Europa Conference League win over Vitesse Arnhem.
But despite starting his reign unbeaten, Conte is facing a tough challenge to return Tottenham to the top four.
