Man Utd midfielder Fred gives Bruno Fernandes amusing dressing room nickname
Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has coined a funny nickname due to his dressing room habits.
Solskjaer and Maguire lament Manchester United's lack of discipline in Bern
Bruno Fernandes may be one of Manchester United's key players, but he still has his flaws in life according to United left-back Alex Telles.
Fernandes joined Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men in January 2020 for a reported initial £47million fee which could rise to £68m.
The Portugal international has gone strength to strength at Old Trafford, scoring 44 goals in just 85 games from the attacking midfield berth.
But not everything about the midfielder is perfect, according to his Portuguese-speaking team-mates.
Alex Telles and Fred are two of his favourite colleagues as the pair share the same mother tongue.
However, despite sharing a club, a city and the same culture, they do not share the same music taste according to Telles.
Fernandes' supposed horrific music taste has given Fred scope to give him one of the more humorous nicknames in football, coining the midfielder DJ Scissors for constantly cutting up the dressing room music.
“I think you said a very good phrase," Telles said to ESPN.
"He’s wavering. What he is on the pitch he’s not as the DJ.

“We say ‘hey, put a song on there, Bruno’. Then the music is playing, we ask him to put on a real song."
Telles is notably a music lover, reportedly playing several instruments and singing songs most of the time.
And after talking about the many times he has been asked to perform for Brazil, he was asked whether any players had taken any influence from him - maintaining that Bruno has not.
Telles says Fred has even found a nickname for 'DJ' Bruno: “We sometimes call him DJ Scissors. Because DJ Scissors is the one who cuts the music in half.
"The music is playing and out of nowhere he changes and puts on another one. This is more Fred who jokes with him. So he cuts the music off and a DJ can’t do that.”
United remain unbeaten and top of the Premier League as they travel to West Ham in a bid to maintain top spot.
But having lost against Young Boys in midweek, they will hope to bounce back in east London.
