Manchester United are reportedly set to try again with a deal to sign Dani Olmo after failing with an approach 18 months ago. The Spain international had earned rave reviews for his performances in Croatia with Dinamo Zagreb before joining RB Leipzig in January 2020.

Zagreb were looking for a fee in the region of £21million and they held off until late in January before Leipzig stumped up the cash.
Days later and United announced the signing of Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hasn't looked back since.
Now, the United boss is stacked with options in the forward positions following the arrivals of Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho this summer.
The new arrivals join the likes of Mason Greenwood, Fernandes, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rashford, Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial all capable of playing their part in United's title push.

But it appears as though United are still looking to make some changes further up the pitch.
And Marca claim that Olmo is among United's list of targets heading into next year.
United's recently-appointed football director John Murtough enjoyed a strong first summer in charge of United's transfer business and he seemingly has his sights set on a move for the Leipzig star.
He impressed in his first full season in the Bundesliga last season, playing his part in 19 goals across all competitions.
