Last season, Rice helped West Ham to European qualification with the club's Europa League campaign starting next week.

"It's all about timing and how ambitious he wants to be. I think he is ambitious, so I'm sure he won't want to flirt around the middle of the table for the rest of his career.
"I'm sure something will happen soon, but I hope it doesn't!"
Many believe Chelsea would be Rice's first-choice destination given his likely desire to play alongside best friend Mason Mount at club level.
However, he has already discussed a move to Man United with Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Jesse Lingard in the England camp.
