Should Grealish feel bad over leaving Villa for City?
Manchester City have confirmed their record-breaking signing of Jack Grealish, but it could be bad news for Harry Kane. Grealish has signed a six-year contract to move to the Etihad Stadium, with City paying a £100million fee to Aston Villa, a new Premier League record.

“All the clubs struggle financially and we are not an exception. We have Gabriel [Jesus] and Ferran [Torres] who played incredible in this position this season.
“There is a big chance, with the situation in the world, the economic problems in world football, we are not going to sign any striker for next season.”
While Grealish is not a striker, Guardiola was clearly wrong in his belief that the champions would not be able to afford an expensive fee.
Their second top target of the summer was thought to be wantaway Tottenham striker Kane, who this week failed to turn up to training in a bid to force a move.

It will take another record-breaking fee for City to also bring Kane to Manchester, with Spurs reportedly demanding a fee in the region of £150m.
City have already seen a bid of £100m turned down for the England captain, with Spurs chief Daniel Levy ready to hold out for a Premier League record.
But in announcing the signing of Grealish, the reigning champions have also hinted that Kane’s wish to join will not be granted.
The former Villa star has been handed the number 10 shirt left vacant by the departed Sergio Aguero at City.
