England captain Harry Kane can overtake Cristiano Ronaldo as the leading goalscorer at Euro 2020, reckons Harry Redknapp. Kane faced strong criticism for his performances in the group stage, failing to find the back of the net in three performances. But he has scored three goals in the knockout stage wins over Germany and Ukraine and is starting to find his best form again.

"He's just the best centre-forward of his type in the world.
"Okay [Lionel] Messi and Ronaldo, yeah, different types of players. But when we talk about a No 9, he's the best. There's no one that you would swap him for.
"It was always only a matter of time... people started saying 'leave him out'. How can you leave the best player you've got out? Who's the best centre-forward in the tournament.
"But obviously Gareth, he's not silly. He knows what he had on his hands, he knows how good he is.

"He's stuck with what he believes is the team to win every game, he's changed the team almost every game," Redknapp told Sky Sports News.
"But whatever [he's picked] he's come up with the right formula.
"Tomorrow he may make one change I would imagine, possibly, or he may stick with the team he had the other night.
"If he does make a change there's probably only one change he could make, whether you lose the lad Sancho - who's an outstanding player, there's no doubt about that - but whether he decides to tweak in that position again, that's a possibility.
"Other than that I think the other 10 really will be pretty much nailed on."
